Registered with the Australian Practitioner Regulation Agency, Chinese Medicine Board of Australia and Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association
Dr. Alana is a registered Chinese Medicine Practitioner, practising Acupuncture and Chinese Herbalism. She graduated from RMIT University, in a double degree, then had the privilege to undertake an internship at the renowned Jiangsu Provincial Hospital in Nanjing, China. There she had great experiences in the gynaecological, immunological and paediatric departments.
Her drive to provide holistic health care, came from growing up in country Victoria, where there was limited access to natural health services. She sees the gap between Modern medicine and Eastern medicine, so she utilises holistic tools combined with evidence based approaches in her treatments.
She has a special interest in treating and managing: endocrine and hormonal conditions, sports injuries and chronic pain, food and seasonal allergies, gut conditions, stress and anxiety, liver conditions such as fatty liver and gallstones, headaches, autoimmune disease and stubborn chronic infections such as bronchitis and skin conditions.
A consultation with Alana is a full body assessment and tune up. She will thoroughly take medical history, diagnosis and follow through with the specific Chinese Medicine treatments you deem necessary such as Acupuncture, Acupressure, Soft tissue work, Herbal Medicine or Cupping (or a combination of all).
She recommends to bring any relevant blood tests results/MRI or Xray reports in, for your initial appointment.
