Raspberry Leaves 1:2 (Rubus Idaeus)

Description:

Raspberry leaves are most commonly used for preparing the uterus for childbirth. It is also widely used for heavy menstrual bleeding

Dosage:

4-14 mls per day, 30-100 mls per week

  • Anti-diarrhoeal

Key Indications:

  • To prepare for labour (when taken from the second trimester) and to ensure healthy uterine function
  • Dysmenorrhoea
  • Morning sickness (which extends into second trimester)
  • Mouth ulcers
  • Diarrhoea
  • Stomatitis
  • Topically for tonsillitis, conjunctivitis, pharyngitis

Major Safety Issues:

Do not take concurrently with mineral supplements

Best to confine use in pregnancy to the second and third trimesters
